A Legacy of Love for Bernese Mountain Dogs

Founded in 1990, the Chattahoochee Valley Bernese Mountain Dog Club has proudly served as a regional affiliate of the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America. Our mission is to support both the breed and our members through various events and activities, primarily in the Atlanta, GA, area, while connecting with Bernese Mountain Dog enthusiasts throughout the southern states.

Our Club Objectives

Ensure the well-being and care of Bernese Mountain Dogs.

Provide knowledge to owners, exhibitors, breeders, and the public about the breed's history, traits, and capabilities.

Advocate for high standards in breeding practices to perfect the natural qualities of Bernese Mountain Dogs.

Encourage adherence to the AKC breed standard as the definitive measure of excellence for Bernese Mountain Dogs.

Support sportsmanlike conduct in conformation shows, obedience trials, draft tests, and other events.

Protect the breed from exploitation through responsible breeding, and commit to rescuing Bernese Mountain Dogs in need.

Join Our Club

Membership dues are due annually by January 1. If you’re interested in becoming a member of our club, please fill out the membership application provided below.

  • Regular Membership: $30.00 for individuals (1 vote)

  • Household Membership: $35.00 for families (2 votes)

  • Associate Membership: $25.00 (non-voting, no office-holding privileges)
